How it Works

Online Tuition

At STEM Tutoring, we strive to provide the highest quality of online GCSE tutoring. Our online program is tailored to support students in their preparation for exams, ensuring they excel in their studies.

We are delighted to be able to invite students whatever their location to work with us to secure or improve their grades.

We are currently offering online tuition for students who wish to:

  • Have additional revisions for examination sessions.
  • Prepare for university study by consolidating their knowledge and skills in their chosen subject.
  • Prepare for university through extra curriculum activities

Microsoft Teams

Online tuition is currently facilitated via Microsoft Teams – a user-friendly interface that is secure, easy, and free to use on either your Mac, PC, Tablet, or Mobile devices.

It allows for live videoconferencing and collaborative work with you and your tutor. All you need is a computer with an Internet connection, or a mobile phone (Android or Apple IOS).

In addition to providing online classes for core academic subjects, we also offer supplementary weekly online programs of study for students who want to excel and are motivated to achieve their full potential at our sister company NxtGen Innovators.
Widening Horizons

The ‘Widening Horizons’ Programme of study is designed to develop a growth mindset in your child by allowing them to complete an advanced curriculum built on university-based concepts and ideas. They are encouraged to further develop their leadership potential by completing a Student Action Project and a STEM Mini Research Project.

Fresh Minds

Former students of ‘Widening Horizons’ and ‘Fresh Minds’ have benefitted from internships, work placements, reduced grade offers at university, opportunities to present at prestigious locations and participate in international competitions.

The answers to your questions

No, we dont require students to turn on their webcams

Both the Edexcel and AQA specifications are covered in all subjects offered and there is differentiated content for Grades 3-5 and Grades 5-9 in each session

All lessons are recorded and uploaded for students to re-watch in their own time at their own pace
