Edexcel, AQA and OCR Examination Boards.
Each lesson is dedicated to covering both theoretical notes and exam practice questions. As part of the lesson, we go through a number of exam questions, exploring what the exam board requires of students and how to score the highest marks.
Learners are supported beyond the course through the provision of high-quality, comprehensive and original materials, including notes and question booklets. These resources have been specially created to supplement the learning experience and support students beyond the online course.
The live lessons are held over Google Meet with plenty of opportunity for student engagement, including live quizzes and Q&A’s.
Students that are not able to join a full session are able to access the recording and work at their own pace using the class materials which are accessible via Google Drive and our AIM 13 website.
Computer Science is known for being one of the most challenging subjects with poorer results than other subjects since 2016 with a declining uptake and a gender imbalance in the classroom. However, we believe computer science is a fundamental subject in teaching problem solving and critical thinking skills, which are essential for employability.
Most students struggle with understanding the programming constructs within Computer Science and find themselves lost in the Pseudocode Language or Exam Reference Language. That’s why we’re here to help you transform your approach to computer science from anxiety to achievement!
Throughout our tutoring sessions we focus on understanding each topic to the fullest extent, as we understand the connectivity of topics in Computer Science. The main focus of the program is to prepare students for their final exams in May/ June. This is achieved by extensively practicing an exhaustive list of programming exam questions followed by weekly theory based live sessions.
We understand that schools are always looking for new and innovative ways to support their students and provide them with the tools they need to succeed. That’s why we’re excited to offer schools a unique opportunity to enhance their computing science curriculum with our expert-led master classes.
Our master classes are led by experienced tutors who have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the subject matter. They cover key topics and concepts in a clear and engaging manner, providing students with a deeper understanding of the subject and the skills they need to excel in their studies.
Our on-site master classes offer a convenient and cost-effective way for schools to provide additional support to their students, without the need for additional staffing or resources. Plus, our master classes are tailored to meet the specific needs of each school, so you can be sure that your students are getting the best possible support to help them succeed.
